I don’t know about you but the words Macaroni and Cheese instantly take me back to my childhood and is one of the ultimate comfort foods. My favorite is Kraft Mac and cheese…it has to be Kraft, and I like mine mixed with hotdogs. But this upcoming weekend August 24th, the Paso Robles Gourmet Macaroni and Cheese Festival is taking place at Le Vigne Winery.
Sponsored by American General Media to support Zoo To You Paso Robles, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing education and adventure to kids, by teaching about conservation. Through the Paso Robles zoo, Zoo To You brings animals to schools so the kids can meet and interact with them.
In a competition for the best Mac and Cheese, the local participating chefs are tasked with creating some yummy creations in a Mac~n~Cheese Throw down of epic proportions. There will also be wineries and breweries present to pair with these dishes.
